By the 1920s, Art Nouveau`s botanical motifs were dwarfed by the soaring heights of urban architecture. Iconic skyscrapers, like the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, adopted classically proportioned, linear designs. Nassau embodies this clean modern aesthetic.
