This 8 watt nickel-cadmium (NiCd) battery backup system is designed for use with the Edge Round 8`` flush mount (sold separately). It provides 90 minutes of power to the Edge Round 8`` flush mount to allow lighting for emergency egress or continuation of key operations during a loss of power.
