We love lanterns year-round, but fall is an especially cozy time to illuminate your home with this style of lighting. When it comes to modern lighting appliances, lanterns like these are unique, eye-catching and they do their job by lighting up your home. Whether you hang your lantern from the ceiling or secure it directly to your wall, it is sure to be an eye-catching piece in your home. Lanterns are also great for outside. They`re nice in your front entrance, back deck our outdoor patio, too.

We have over a thousand lanterns in our inventory so it was hard to pick favorites, but here are some that we love:

This style of light is very en vogue right now. The aged brass is a popular finish for both indoor and outdoor lighting, and the glass part resembles a mason jar, which is everybody’s new favorite way to hold flowers, consume beverages or create a candleholder.

We can’t decide what we like better – the geometric shapes or the prismatic colors of this Linares four light lantern. This fixture spans just over 33 inches high and is finished in aged platinum, making it a modern take on a classic lighting fixture.

This birdcage style lantern is so much fun! It has four candelabras inside and has a beautiful red finish. It may not a piece for the contemporary lighting lover, but it’s a favorite amongst the rustic and classic style lovers.

This classic lantern is finished in old bronze and is from Nuvo Lighting’s Onion Lantern collection. One of these on either side of your front door would be a great way to greet people, especially during the Halloween season. If old bronze isn’t your style, it also comes in white!

Troy Lighting has some very unique lighting fixtures, and this is one of them! The candelabra gives this light a nice old-school feel like the coastal rust finish is a modern day favorite. As if the light were cool enough as is, it’s three and a half feet in height!

Have you ever accessorized your home with a lantern before? Maybe it’s time to get into this newly popular style of modern lighting! If you’d like to see all the lanterns we carry, just click here
